Quote for today.

“Whatever you give a woman, she will make greater. If you give her sperm, she’ll give you a baby.
If you give her a house, she’ll give you a home. If you give her groceries, she’ll give you a meal.
If you give her a smile, she’ll give you her heart. She multiplies and enlarges what is given to her.
So, if you give her any crap, be ready to receive a ton of shit.

FASHOLA and the new lagos.

Hello friends, I am so happy about the new Lagos, have you noticed the positive change in Lagos? Governor Fashola has drastically transformed the streets of  Lagos, for once I am so proud of  Lagos, Imagine 5 years ago, how Oshodi looks and compare it to now, litters were seen all over the streets, traders had completely taken over the traffic and cars were struggling to go through thier dedicated lane.

He has barely spent 3 years in office and there is a visible transformation. I wonder if he is a Nigerian…but  I understand that he is a new Ngerian that knows what leadership means, and he is ready to lead, others know only one language stealing, cheating, self enrichment, wealth stacking without considering the welfare of the public which they serbve, have you noticed that there are little or no beggars on the streets of  Lagos?

Have you driven past Mobolaji Bank Anthony way at night? Or have you passed the third mainland bridge at night? Do you know how Oshodi looks now or Ojota? Have you seen the culverts and all the street decorations, I could go on and on and you still would not doubt me,  Fashola bears a resemblance to Obama, Continue reading

NIGERIA IN 2009

Hello friends, its bothers me whenever I think about the future of Nigeria, how we are going and the negative side of destruction our leaders are towing.

It’s 2009 and I wonder where we are heading, I was watching a program on channels Television last week and listened to young minds talk at lenght on the future of Nigeria, a fraction of the speakers believed so much in the new Nigeria while the others still wonder why we are united. They talked and argued constructively, I was thrilled.

I also listened to a former president of Nigeria speak about Nigeria and he said we should be expecting bad days ahead, woah I am so surprised at the state of negativity our leaders have, we are already in bad days, how bad can it get? At least what we should be hearing are ways to help the economy of Nigeria, and not tell us a whole crap that we have heard and we know. Obama was elected last year and he would be inaugurated on the 20th of January, by now he has conveniently arranged his whole cabinet and assigned duties already, but the case is different in Nigeria, Our president has spent God knows how many months in office and he is still moving and shuffling ministers on a daily basis, its only in Nigeria I see that someone doing well in a particular ministry would be removed at will because the person might be stepping on some toes. SETTING AN EFFECTIVE FINANCIAL GOAL IN 2009.

Welcome friends to 2009, I had a very wonderful 2008, I don’t know about you? The latter part of 2008 hold a lot of memories and blessings that I stand and look back I can do nothing else but smile, it is another year and people at this time of the year set their yearly goal and also makes a resolution as to what they would do in 2009.

I have set my goals too, and I can tell you that this is a good thing to do as it gives you directions and focus on what to do this year, imagine a ship sailing without direction or destination, where would it end up? In no man’s land. A ship that does not set its sail would enjoy the advantage of the prevailing wind. That’s is to say to enjoy focus and direction in 2009, you must set your sails and map out what you are set to achieve as the year goes by, I did this last year and looking back to it, I achieved over 60% of my target. I know withal certainty that I would achieve better this year.

Much as it may sound incredible, a lot of people work and live year-in year-out without a concrete idea of what they want or when they want them achieved. A roll on life normally produces no results. For those who think they need to plan or who believe that creating ideas about what they want in life is important, the problem in most cases is cynicism. After setting their goals and it appears they fall off the mark, they mostly get discouraged, saying that setting goals has little meaning as they are difficult to achieve. Continue reading
